SOUNDIRON Ambius 1: Transmissions is a collection of atmospheric pads, synths and soundscapes that explore a wide range of moods and styles. Each sound is crafted from acoustic instruments and sound sources, and arranged in a flexible and dynamic interface.

Dark and Sublime Sounds

In this first volume of the Ambius series, the focus is on the dark, the cryptic, the supernatural and the subliminal, in the form of strange and unholy transmissions that penetrate the void. You’ll find an archive of EVP recordings made by the dead, eyewitness accounts of unholy medical procedures, insidious swarms of venomous insects, winds of terror speaking in voices of pure, ancient decay, and biomechanical devices winding through primordial wells of seething logic.

Handcrafted

This extensive collection of evolving “synthetic” ambiences, drones, pads, and leads has been handcrafted. Everything you hear has been constructed using only organic field and instrument recordings. In fact, no synthesizers were used in the creation of this library. We’ve used a variety of custom techniques to blend, distort, shape, and layer sounds from the familiar to the very unknown.

Advanced Features

The library features time-locked filters and LFO-based parameter automation. Includes a pair of 32-beat sequencer graphs for modulating resonance and cutoff values from one step to the next, with time divisions from quarter notes to 128ths. Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, and Vowel filter types are included.
