The Apocalypse Percussion Ensemble is an industry-leading epic percussion behemoth. This massive collection of drums and cymbals weighs in at nearly 25 GB with over 25,000 samples, delivering stunning sonic power, detail, and playability.

With over 40 drums and nearly 200 articulations, it features extensive dynamic layering and 12 round-robins per velocity. You’ll find thunderous ensemble sections and solo instruments including bass drums, a variety of toms, dhols, riqs, tambourines, bongos, cajons, doumbeks, clicks, clacks, a heavy snare drum kit and 6 solo snare types.

Microphonation and Controls

Each instrument has 3 mic positions that can be selected, mixed and routed via the pop-up mixer window: Close (directly on the drum head), Mid (5 meters) and Far (20 meters). Also included is a midi groove system, custom kit mapping, arpeggiator, a full effects rack and full UI control over every performance detail.

“Standard” presets are included to provide instant access to the full library in a classic percussion layout. The main "Ensemble All" preset lets you customize the note mapping for each articulation or load one of several common mapping patterns from drum libraries.

Ensemble Elements

This set features a variety of ensemble and solo elements, from snares and bass drums to lead drums, cymbals, gongs, hi-hats, effects, and more. Each element is carefully captured and available for exploration through the custom user interface.
