SSL X-Gate is a comprehensive mixing tool inspired by the classic analog gate hardware and workflow of SSL's Live and Broadcast consoles. Featuring a rolling waveform graph, mid/side processing options, and adjustable hysteresis using independent open and closed limits, the X-Gate is based on renowned hardware ports, all delivered through SSL's advanced workflow interface.
The X-Gate offers a variety of unique control features for extended sound sculpting - use the intuitive sidechain filter interface and mid/side balance options to focus the gate on unwanted sounds and make the processed signal look as natural or affected as possible. would you like.
In addition to visual feedback, including the hardware-inspired traffic light system for immediate visual confirmation of the gate's current status, the continuous waveform visualization graph provides an intuitive display of the input signal to define its opening and closing limits.
