T-RackS Comprexxor is based on one of the most flexible and creative analog compressors ever made. With eight switchable curves, switchable 2nd or 3rd order harmonic saturation, high-pass / bandpass filters in the sidechain path, and much more, the Comprexxor offers infinite sonic flexibility, whether it's emulating classic sounds from the past or inspiring new ones for tomorrow.

The Comprexxor features eight selectable ratio curves representing legendary analog compressor designs. Each aspect ratio selection has its own threshold setting, starting at 1:1 mode, which adds heat without compression, to the MAX setting, which is a dramatic limiting curve.

Comprxxor can also be set to function as a traditional opto-compressor. By simply adjusting the attack and release controls in optical mode, you can breathe new life into any element in the mix.

Try Comprexxor as a distortion module and you'll find a new realm of sound shaping for your reach. By selecting the first aspect ratio setting and adjusting to taste, or activating the GB mode 4-button effect, you can instantly add texture and character to any track.

Comprxxor lets you add color or warm up digitally recorded tracks in sublime ways. The color section offers 2nd order (“tube type”) or 3rd order (“ribbon type”) harmonic distortion with dedicated controls to add just the right amount. The color engine is designed to make coloring and warming up audio easy and effective.

Comprxxor also offers controls to set the sound before the signal hits the compressor. The advanced side section lets you focus exactly on the frequencies you want to process through two adjustable filters, offering a powerful and creative way to optimize compression and distortion right from the start.
