The Room CSR reverb is designed to reproduce the type of reverberation generated by medium to small acoustic spaces. It's particularly useful to “dress” a source recorded from dry mics in a natural environment that won't make it look like an artificial reverb, but as it was actually recorded in a real room. This is far from easy, as although reverberation does not have a long decay, the presence and importance of early reflections makes convincing reproduction difficult.
